Radiographs of your jaws, teeth, and skull (i.e., Panorex, lateral cephalogram). These radiographs are important for establishing your diagnosis and treatment.
Tomograms, CAT Scans, or MRIs of your jaw joints may be recommended if you have TMJ issues.
Dental models (i.e., models of your teeth). A recent set of dental models is usually very important for your assessment.
Note: if you do not have a set of dental models available, dental impressions can be taken in our office on the day of your appointment so that your comprehensive evaluation and treatment planning can be completed on your initial visit.
